After hearing about some of the results of the issues voted on last Tuesday,( November 2014) it is very easy to lose faith and be disheartened with humanity. A friend of mine posted on Facebook that she has given up on humanity. There were issues about water, fracking, education and in other states; labeling. I choose to stay out of the pit of negativity, and go with my true feelings of knowing that human beings are intrinsically good. We, however need to learn lessons through our experiences. There are many experiences that apply here aside from the obvious ones, of truth, trust, faith and optimism for the future.
1. Corporations with big money wanting to keep their power, will spend even more money to make sure they stay in control/power no matter what they say or do, including: deceptive advertising, propaganda and even lying. Also included in this category is confusing wording on ballot descriptions. Whether to vote yes or no, yes means no and no means yes; very confusing.
2. The government, big corporations, and very wealthy individuals do not have our ( we the people’s) best interests in mind, they have their own best interests in mind.
3. When all those entities come together, they control our Food, Government, and Media
Do we ( some of us humans) already know this? Yes! Have we done something about it? Yes and no! So, now we must! This is where our learning through experience comes in. We have learned thus far that we have not done enough. We are learning we need to do more, say more, act more, participate more, write more, whatever it is that impels you- More!
Take a stand for whatever you believe in. Get out there and make your opinion or idea known. The time for grassroots, grounded truth is here! What we have learned is playing small and allowing those in power to make choices for us is unacceptable because they do not make the choices we want. They make the choices they want. It is time to no longer give our power away to corporations, our government and the media. We want the truth, we deserve the truth and we will speak the truth until we get it. We want to know what is in our food and what chemicals are being used in the growing of our foods. We want clean air and clean water and we want our children to have clean water and trees for their children. When we have the truth we can then make informed choices. Having a choice is what freedom is all about!
Participate in any way you can to make yourself and the issues that are important to you known! This is an important time in history. Over the next 2 years will be an even more important evolution. Get involved whatever that means to you.
Our food is changing.
Our weather and climate are changing.
Our vibration and consciousness are changing.
We are the only ones who can make specific changes for ourselves. If you are feeling discouraged, uncomfortable or powerless, this is a good time to check in with yourself to see what actions you can take to feel more comfortable and in control. During times of discouragement and stress it is very important to have diligent self care . Keep up with spiritual practices, like yoga and meditation or chanting. Eat mindfully, and healthfully. As you know, food is our fuel, for nourishment, health and mood. Eat organic whenever possible. Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. If you eat meat, eat clean, grass-fed, humanely raised, and read those ingredient labels!
Feed yourself from every aspect! Body, mind, spirit and Soul!
